A punjab government's Mi-17 helicopter crash landed in a remote district of eastern Afghanistan Logar province on thursday,Taliban fighters are believed to have captured all passengers and crew of a Pakistani government helicopter that crash-landed.
"Reports suggested that they were seven people on board,six Pakistanis and one Russian technician,the pilot was a Pakistani,chopper was not shot but made the landing because of technical failure.
"The Afghan authorities have assured that they will investigate and find out the whereabouts of the helicopter and the passengers.
A senior Pakistani military official stated that the Russian-made MI-17 transport helicopter was en route from Peshawar in northwest Pakistan to Uzbekistan for maintenance when it experienced technical failure on air
and made an emergency landing.
